History Of The Marietta Country Club

Marietta Country Club has a rich history dating back to 1901 and making the Club one of the oldest west of the Allegheny Mountains and the first in Southeastern Ohio. Having been located in its current location since 1920, Marietta Country Club continues to play an important role in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Over the years, the Club has hosted a wide variety of events, including the 1956 Ohio Open won by Jack Nicklaus. In addition, Marietta Country Club serves as the home course for Marietta High School and the men's and women's teams from Ohio Valley University.

Our course continues to challenge those today as it did many decades ago!
